GYMBRO / PROGRESS ANALYTICS

Track workout progress with your training history.

Progressive overload means gradually increasing the demands of your training over time. GymBro helps you review what you actually did, so decisions about your next session have a useful starting point.

  • Review your recorded weights and reps.
  • Explore exercise, workout, and muscle trends.
  • See volume and estimated strength where data allows.

Compare like with like

Start with your history for the same exercise. Look at the weight, reps, and completed sets together. More weight for fewer reps describes a different session; one number alone does not tell the whole story.

02

Use trends instead of a single session

GymBro offers exercise, workout, and muscle progress views. Recorded weights and reps can support volume and estimated strength trends when enough information is available. Missing weights limit the calculations that can be made.

03

Choose a manageable next step

Use your previous sessions and current recovery context when considering another rep, a different load, or an adjustment to volume. GymBro provides the record and the context; it does not promise a particular strength result or prescribe automatic load increases.

A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT

About progress analytics.

Does GymBro automatically increase my weights?

The progress views help you review your history and trends. You choose how to adjust the exercises, weights, reps, and volume of your next session.

Why should I record weights as well as reps?

Recorded weight makes load-based volume and estimated strength calculations possible. Without it, your reps and completed sets still provide useful history, but some analytics are unavailable.
